The Secret Life of France is to be published in French! In April/May 2013. The publishers are Hugo et Cie who offer a small but eclectic list of titles, ranging as far as I can tell from the serious, to the light, to the tastefully saucy.
Any suggestions for titles in French would be very welcome.
As would any suggestions for the additional chapter on post-Sarkozy France that I intend to add to the French version.

as a french who loved to read your book, I’m very glad at this and I wish you the best! Although is might hurt a few sensibilities, it’s a great point of view on my country and many times you need a foreigner to understand yourself better.

- Incorrigibles Français

J’aime bien ce sous-titre mais je ne veux pas etre trop ‘donneuse de lecon’ (meme si j’en donne pas mal). Je rencontre mes editeurs francais dans 2 semaines et je serai interessee de voir ce qu’ils proposent.

The book comes out in France on June 3rd, 2013, under the title “So French” and the subtitle, ‘L’amour vache d’une Anglaise pour la France.’
